(with popular movie adaptations), Burton Lane began
writing for the musical revues of the ‘30s before focusing most of his career
on Hollywood.  He collaborated most frequently with Yip
Harburg and Alan Jay Lerner.  His best
known tunes include “On a Clear Day,” “How About You,” “Too Late Now,” “Old
