Cook the Books!

Join us as we cook the books at the Watertown Free Public Library. Every month we will highlight one cookbook and on the third Tuesday of each month people who would like to discuss the book can bring in one dish, prepared from the selected book, to share with the group.  This will give everyone a chance to sample many dishes while only having to prepare one. Start drooling now!

We will discuss the current book, its recipes and format, as well as other cookbooks and food related topics while eating the dishes people prepared. As a group we will also choose future cookbooks to highlight in upcoming cookbook programs. You can reserve a copy of the current book yourself or stop by the reference desk to get a copy. To help us plan for supplies we ask that you sign up at the reference desk in person or by phone by calling 617.972.6436. If you wish, you can also let us know what dish you are planning on preparing so we limit overlap-not that having six carrot cakes would be a bad thing.
