Gala Music and Dance event

The Canadian American club of Massachusetts will be holding a club fundraiser on Sunday afternoon in Watertown at 202 Arlington St. It will be a day of music and dance it is a day for the entire family. Bring your grandparents,parents and children and grandchildren. We are having many local musicians play all day long donating their time to entertain you.There will be some square sets and stepping dancing and maybe some highland fling.. We will have the club open downstairs in the pub and upstairs in the dance hall. There will be a chance to win a week cottage rental in cape Breton, Canada. And lots of other prizes and raffles all day long.  We will have children's activities from 4:00-6:00 downstairs. We have raffle tickets on some beautiful gifts, baskets and more downstairs from 1:00-8:00pm.So bring the family and your dance shoes and come and join us for this gala family event. The main entertainment will be upstairs in the dance hall but we will have other activities down in the Pub downstairs. We have a special guest, Andrea Beaton famous fiddler from Cape Breton. Andrea will be accompanied by a great pianist, Janine Randall, our club member. We have many fine musicians and groups including Scottish Fiddle Club, Comhaltas and many friends of the club who have graciously volunteered their time for this great fundraiser. We are very thankful for all our musicians and dancers.The club is a  great supporter of traditional maritime music and want to share this culture with all our members and friends of the club. We truly thank all our friends for their continued membership to our great club in Watertown. 75 years Strong.. Any donation amount will be accepted at the door but 20.00 would be a suggested donation. Kids free No one will be turned away, give what you can or just drop in to say hello.
