Outdoors at the Arsenal Center free lunchtime concert: Animal Flag folk/rock/pop band

The
Arsenal Center for the Arts presents Outdoors at the Arsenal, its first summer
of free, outdoor music, art and
theatre performances, workshops and demos, all sponsored by athenahealth.

The lunchtime music series, Bread & Jam, continues on July
23
with the indie rock band, Animal
Flag
.  Animal Flag
is the longtime project of songwriter Matt Politoski. With recorded works that
range from heartbreaking solo acoustic tunes and full fledged folk-rock anthems
to lush electronic pop songs, this band doesn't lack variety. While
there are clear influences from Sufjan Stevens and Bright Eyes, Politoski has a
voice and presence all his own.  With:
Matt
Politoski - Vocals, Guitar, Collin Pastore - Pedal Steel, Mike Nevin – Bass, Chris
Geller – Drums.
