PIs: Dr. John Gabrieli and Dr. Ken Wexler at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology; Dr. Helen Tager-Flusberg at Boston University.

We are looking for children and teenagers (aged 5 to 17) with and without reading and language difficulties to participate in our research.

The study involves 2 to 4 visits to MIT for language tests and safe, child-friendly MRI brain imaging. Total testing time includes approximately 4 hours of behavioral assessments and 2 hours of non-invasive, radiation-free fMRI scanning. After the fMRI visit, each participant will get pictures of his or her brain to take home.

Participants will be compensated $20/hour for behavioral testing and $30/hour for fMRI scanning.

If interested, please contact the project coordinator, Dr. Lisa Wisman Weil, at 617-835-7668 or projectBILD@gmail.com
