Watertown SPEDPAC Awards

The Watertown Special
Education Parent Advisory Council, with the help of the Watertown
Commission on Disability and the Watertown Public Schools, is holding
its Tenth Annual Awards Night on Wednesday, April 16th, 2014, at the
Hosmer School Auditorium, 1 Concord Rd. Watertown, MA,
5:30-8:00
PM


Join us in honoring those
who serve students with special needs:
Joanie Leitner, Tina
Loguidice, Ellen Scarfidi, Mary Connolly Sullivan, Barbara Stewart
and Maria Wood.
We would also like to congratulate parent Beth
Zwick, recipient of the Marilyn Micco Award.


After the awards, we will
feature a talk by Dr. Teresa A. May-Benson ScD., OTR/L on “Praxis
and Executive Function: What’s the Connection?” This talk will
discuss how to identify sensory integration, praxis and executive
function problems and suggest ways to deal with them. Teresa A.
May-Benson is the Director of Research and Education at the Spiral
Foundation.
