Saturday's Faire on the Square in Watertown Includes a Visit by Elizabeth Warren
The town's annual gathering near Town Hall features music, entertainment, food and a variety of groups from Watertown.
The 13th annual Faire on the Square comes to Saltonstall Park on Saturday, Sept. 22 , and along with the music, food and fun, senatorial candidate Elizabeth Warren plans to make an appearance.
The Faire runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., rain or shine, admission is free. The day features a wide variety of free activities for children and adults including children's rides and activities, music and dance performances. Food and crafts will be sold.
Along with being a place for local groups, businesses and organizations to link with residents, political candidates often stop by. This year, Democrat Elizabeth Warren will make an appearance at 10:45 a.m., according to her campaign. No word if Republican Sen. Scott Brown will be at the event.

Among the performers at this year's event will be a Beatles cover band.
Bakers still have time to cook something for the Faire's Apple Pie Contest.
