See How You Can Get Free Access to Movies, Show, Songs and Books Online

The Watertown Free Public Library has partnered with hooplamedia to give residents access to thousands of movies, shows, songs and audiobooks.

Watertown residents now have access to thousands of movies, TV shows, songs, and audiobooks thanks to a new partnership the library has started with hoopla digital.

Using an Android or iPhone app or the hoopla digital website (hoopladigital.com) library users can stream media or make a temporary download to their smartphones, tablets and computers. Then enjoy productions and publications from major Hollywood studios, record companies and publishers.

“We’re very excited about our new partnership with hoopla digital because our patrons now have access to a broad collection of movies, music, television shows and audiobooks that they never had before,” said Caitlin Brown, Assistant Director of the Watertown Free Public Library. “On-the-go technology is in demand and with this new service, we’re able to meet the needs of patrons who are unable to visit during library hours. They’ll also love the fact that it’s free and easy to use – there is no waiting period for popular titles and hoopla’s automatic return means no late fees. ”

The mission of hoopla media is to help public libraries meet the needs of the mobile generation, said Jeff Jankowski founder and owner of hoopla digital.
