Watertown Savings Bank Collecting Donations to American Red Cross; Will Match up to $5,000
Watertown Savings Bank is collecting donations to the American Red Cross, at all nine locations: Arlington, Belmont, Lexington, Newton, Waltham, & Watertown; and will match up to $5,000!
WATERTOWN, November 6, 2012-- Watertown Savings Bank (WSB) will be collecting funds for the relief and support of the victims of last week’s devastating Hurricane Sandy. This incredibly large and dangerous storm cost many of us one day at work and perhaps some time without power. It has cost so much more to many of our fellow citizens. As of this morning 1.4 million homes and businesses remain without power even as the temperature is falling.
WSB will match dollar for dollar the amount of funds collected this Friday and Saturday, November 9th and 10th from WSB employees and WSB customers up to $5,000. All funds will be donated to the American Red Cross.
