Watertown Savings Bank Collecting Items for Operation American Soldier

Watertown Savings Bank Collecting Items for Operation American Soldier, a Watertown-Based Organization that Gathers, Prepares, and Ships Care Packages to Our Troops!

Watertown Savings Bank (WSB) will collect items for Operation American Soldier (OAS) in their lobbies.

“Let no one walk away from mail call empty handed.” That is the goal of OAS.  OAS founders and local realtors John and Wendy Rocca, along with hundreds of OAS volunteers, have gathered, prepared, and shipped care packages to men and women serving in the Armed Forces for 10 years. More than 4,000 service men and women have received care boxes from OAS.

All three of the Rocca’s children have served in the military. “What a great time to remember our troops around the Veteran’s Day holiday,” Wendy said.
