Watertown Savings Bank to Donate $12,051.36 to American Red Cross

Thanks to Watertown Savings Bank customer and employee donations, WSB is donating $12,051.36 to the American Red Cross, in support of Hurricane Sandy relief efforts!

In one week, Watertown Savings Bank (WSB) collected $6,025.68 from employees and customers.  The bank matched that amount dollar for dollar, and was able to donate $12,051.36 to the American Red Cross in support of Hurricane Sandy relief efforts, which are still very much ongoing in parts of New York and New Jersey.

“It was really heartwarming to see this level of generosity, and we are so pleased to make this donation to the American Red Cross on behalf of WSB’s customers and employees,” said VP of Marketing Carole Katz.
