The Watertown Education Foundation Awarded $20,000 in grants to Watertown teachers!

The Watertown Education Foundation (WEF) held their Grant Kick-Off party on September 28th at the beautiful new Grousbeck Center, located on the Perkins School for the Blind campus in Watertown.

“The teacher presentations, explaining how the grant monies were used, were fantastic!” said Amy Donohue, WEF president.  “We hope this program continues to grow as it has proven to be a positive endeavor between the WEF and our teachers."

For the 2011-2012 school year, the WEF awarded $20,000 in grants to fifteen recipients throughout the Watertown schools.  The WEF announced it will award up to $25,000 in grants for the 2012-2013 school year.
