Johnny Fireseed and The Junkyard Dogs

In case you haven't heard about last Friday's event at the Hosmer, here's the story.  On January 24th Hosmer students and families were inspired to plant seeds of sustainability and connect to their environment through music.  Johnny Fireseed and The Junkyard Dogs had a performance utilizing their instruments made entirely from trash, recycling, and repurposed items. Their original music had a really upbeat eco-message. All were engaged, entertained and inspired to help spread the word.  The Hosmer PTO sponsored this event to promote new ways of thinking about consumption and waste in our community and the world.  Go, Huskies!
