Michael Dattoli endorsed by International Brotherhood of Police Officers

Michael Dattoli, candidate for Town Councilor at-Large, received the support and endorsement of the International Brotherhood of Police Officers this week.  The IBPO, which provides advocacy and legal expertise to local police organizations throughout the country, is the second major endorsement for Dattoli's election campaign.  Earlier last week, Watertown's Local IAFF 1347 endorsed Dattoli for Town Councilor at-Large in the November 5th election.

"I am humbled by the support of public safety organizations that I have received over the past two weeks," Dattoli stated.  "The men and women who serve their communities deserve strong representation from their local government.  It is clear that a new voice in local leadership is desired in Watertown."

Throughout his campaign, Dattoli has referred to his business, public service, and education experience as three areas that will drive Watertown forward in meeting current and future goals.  Dattoli currently runs leadership workshops for youth, teaching communication and collaboration skills, while working as an elementary educator in Watertown.  He has also worked as an international business consultant and federal grant administrator for the Public Health Commission in Boston.
