Marie Bedrosian of Watertown, Ran Catering Business, Floral Arranger

Marie G. Bedrosian of Watertown died on Jan. 10.

She was born in Boston and graduated from Watertown High School. She worked as a merchandising manager and buyer for Jordan Marsh, Bonwit Teller, Daniel Low and Co. and more. She returned to Watertown after earning a cooking certificate at Le Cordon Bleu and ran her own catering business, Food for Thought, in Waverly Square. In recent years, she provided corporate flower arrangements through “Arie’s,” according to an obituary on the Bedrosian Funeral Home website

She was daughter of the late Charles and Grace Bedrosian; sister of Dorothy Der Hagopian and Elissa Putukian and her husband John. She is also survived by many loving relatives and friends, including Angelo Koutroukas and his family.

A memorial service will be held at Plymouth Congregational Church, 87 Edgell Road in Framingham, on Saturday, Jan. 18 at 11 a.m. A collation will follow immediately in the Parish Hall. Private interment at Mount Auburn Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to support pancreatic cancer research at Massachusetts General Hospital, with checks made out to MGH, and sent c/o Development Office, 100 Cambridge Street, Suite 1310, Boston, MA 02114.
