Marjorie Parsons, 86, of Watertown, Real Estate Agent

Marjorie L. Parsons of Watertown died on Dec. 23 at the age of 86.

She was born in Cambridge and graduated from St. Mary's High School. She went to work for AT&T and, in later years, became a realtor. She had two great loves in her life: her family and her beloved Saint Luke's Church in Belmont, according to an obituary on the Joyce Funeral Home website.

She was the daughter of the late John R. and Isabelle M. (Prowse) Parsons; sister of Dorothy Wimberly and her husband Floyd of Bradenton, Fla., and the late Claude, Clifton, John, Robert and Gertrude Parsons, Isabelle Gustie and Sister Isabel Parsons, S.N.D. She was also survived by many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews and her dear friend, Mary Morley.

Calling hours will be in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20) in Waltham, on Friday, Dec. 27, from 4-8 p.m. and again at 8 a.m. on Saturday before leaving in procession to Saint Luke's Church, 132 Lexington St. in Belmont, where her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. Burial will follow in Mount Auburn Cemetery in Cambridge.
