Michael Iodice, 95, of Watertown, Farmer and Real Estate Developer

Michael F. Iodice of Watertown died on Dec. 25 at the age of 95.

He graduated from Watertown High School and worked in the farming industry including owning Iodice Farms in Watertown. In 1958, he transitioned into real estate development, and converted his farm into multifamily housing. He later expanded this business into the construction of residential and commercial properties, according to an obituary on the MacDonald, Rockwell & MacDonald Funeral Home website

He was son of the late Frank and Rose (Falzarano) Iodice; husband of Jennie C. (Cavallaro) Iodice; father of Jeanne R. Maurer of Newton, Michael F. Iodice and his wife Susan of Weston and the late Frank M. Iodice; brother of Louise Cavicchio of Sudbury, Mary Ricci of Lexington and the late Rita Cavicchio-Cummings, Bessie DeNapoli and Arthur Iodice. He also had eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. 

A visitation will take place Monday, Dec. 30 from 9-10:30 a.m. in the MacDonald, Rockwell & MacDonald Funeral Home, 270 Main St. (Rt. 20) in Watertown followed by a Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. in the Church of St. Patrick, 212 Main St. in Watertown. Interment will be at St. Patrick Cemetery.
