Obituary: Andrea Lynn Soloman, 42, Formerly of Watertown

The Watertown native and mother of two passed away on Wednesday. Services will be held on Monday.

Funeral services will be held on Monday Nov. 26, 2012 for Andrea Lynn Soloman. Ms. Soloman passed away on the morning of Wednesday, Nov. 21, surrounded by her family after a brief illness. A daughter of the late Richard C. and Sylvia A. (McDonald) Faherty. Andrea grew up in Watertown, attended Watertown schools and graduated Watertown High School class of 1988. In 1992 she graduated from North Adams State College with a BA in psychology, received a Master’s in early intervention from Wheelock College in 1995 and was certified as an Early Intervention Specialist in August 2008. 

She is the loving mother of Cameron A. & Westin R. Soloman. Loving sister of Richard C. Faherty, Jr. and his wife Barbara of Watertown, James M. Faherty & his wife Diane of Watertown, Kevin J. Faherty of Malden and Sharon M. Petitpas & her husband Samuel of Waltham. She also leaves her former husband Allan R. Soloman, Jr. and his wife Melanie their son Allan R. Soloman III. Of Milford, Dear Uncle Walter “Mort” J. Faherty of Bridgeport, Conn., Aunt Jerri Faherty of Framingham, Aunt Marie McDonald of Florida, Godmother Vivian Nicalazzo of Marlborough and three nephews and two nieces.

Funeral from the MacDonald, Rockwell & MacDonald Funeral Home at 270 Main St. – Rt. 20 – Watertown on Monday at 10 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. in the Church of St. Patrick, 212 Main St., Relatives and friends kindly invited. Interment St. Patrick’s Cemetery. Visiting hours Sunday 2-6 p.m.
