Belmont Car Wash & Detailing Prepares for 50th Anniversary

Completion of the immense renovation is now in sight for Belmont Car Wash & Detailing – one of Belmont’s longest running family-owned businesses. The final touches to both the interior and exterior of the facility are being finalized in time for the company’s 50th anniversary this June.

Complementing the beautification of Waverly Square, the new and improved Belmont Car Wash & Detailing plans to provide an even bigger and better customer experience. Significant changes have been made to both the interior and exterior of the wash. All new, state-of-the-art equipment has been added to the wash tunnel, consolidating what would typically be offered in two tunnels into one. Four new “turn around” brushes, a front to back mitter, two small brushes for the bottom portion of the car, a tire brush as well as a notable “wheel blaster”, which is a high pressure water hose that reaches the wheels on both sides, have all been added to the tunnel for perfect washing performance. New vacuums are soon to be installed and available for customers. The exterior of the building is also getting a much-needed “facelift” with some noticeable modifications including repaving of the driveways.  

Belmont Car Wash & Detailing has gone above and beyond with the new customer waiting area. Improvements include new insulation and viewing ports in the wash tunnel so customers have a great view without the nuisance of the noise. Customers can also enjoy free Wi-Fi and the 60” TV offered in the sitting area. A separate children’s “playroom” includes a television, toys, books and the Super Soaker Squirt Gun where the children can shoot water and soap at the cars passing in the tunnel.

A 50th anniversary celebration is planned for June 21st, with a full day of activities for customers along with special 1964 prices lasting though July 4th. Adam Tocci, General Manager, explains that by adding the new and efficient technology and the modifications to the waiting area they hope to enhance each and every customer’s experience. “It is truly exciting to see all of the work coming together,” Tocci says. “Seeing results and receiving acknowledgement from our customers is fantastic. We are thrilled with the updates and are looking forward to celebrating the renovation with our community next month.”
