An alert motorist reported the driver who was weaving around the roads.

An Good Samaritan called police after spotting a car weaving around on Belmont Street on the evening of Oct. 11, and the driver was arrested on what would be his third drunken driving offense.

The Toyota pickup was spotted running a red light on Belmont Street in Belmont, and the driver then continued into Watertown, said Watertown Police Lt. Michael Lawn.

"The caller said the pickup weaved over the yellow line and struck a curb," Lawn said.
