Watertown Police tracked a stolen car to Allston and arrested a 17-year-old Boston woman on Nov. 7 for taking the Honda from Super Fitness earlier in the week.
The owner of the 2006 Honda Accord went to workout at the gym on Arlington Street at 10:30 a.m. on Nov. 4, and left her keys in an unlocked locker, said Watertown Police Lt. Michael Lawn.
When she finished her workout, at about 11:30 a.m. she discovered the car was gone, Lawn said. She had left her cell phone and credit cards, and later she discovered her credit card had been used at Target, Best Buy and Victoria's Secret.
Police investigated and linked the crime to a woman who lives on Richardson Street in Allston. On Nov. 7, they watched the area, Lawn said.
"Police conducted surviellance on Richardson Street and observed a female operating the motor vehicle," Lawn said. "She was stopped and placed under arrest."
Tyquannya Tyson, 17, of 32 Richardson St. in Allston, was arrested on charges of larceny of a motor vehicle, larceny from a building and credit card fraud over $250, Lawn said.
