Car Crashes Through Watertown Dunkin' Donuts

A driver said another vehicle rear-ended him, sending his vehicle flying though the shop.

A man trying to get his morning coffee at a Watertown Dunkin' Donuts got more than he bargained for.

Richard Corbett told WHDH-7News he was about to pull into a parking space at the Mt. Auburn Street shop Thursday morning when another vehicle rear-ended him—sending his Nissan flying through the front glass window. Several customers were inside at the time, though no one was injured, according to 7News.

"I had my blinker on and a young woman wasn't paying attention, and just looked up too late, rear-ended me, and I went into the building," Corbett told 7News.

Patch reader Rita Colella submitted the attached photos of the scene.
