Dorchester Woman Busted for Taking Watertown Man's Laptop

The woman allegedly stole the computer from a man who she met online.

Police caught a 21-year-old Dorchester woman with a laptop computer she allegedly stole from a Watertown man's home.

A man met a woman online and invited her over. When she was at his home the man went into the other room and when he returned he saw her running out the door with his MacBook computer, said Watertown Police Sgt. Thomas Grady.

Later, Police were called to Watertown Square for an argument involving a woman and two men. When the officer arrived, the two men left, but the woman was questioned, Grady said. When the car was searched, the man's MacBook was found.

Kim Walker, 21, of 12 Paxton St. Apt. 3 in Dorchester, was arrested on charges of larceny from a building and a probation warrant from Dorchester District Court.
