Harvard Student Arrested for Monday's Bomb Threats

Eldo Kim, 20, will be arraigned for threats on four buildings on campus.

Police arrested a 20-year-old Harvard student Tuesday for allegedly sending out the bomb threats on four buildings at the university on Monday.

Eldo Kim told investigators he made the threats because he wanted to avoid a final exam scheduled for Monday morning, according to a report on WCVB-TV's website.

He sent a letter to the Harvard University Police Department, two officials of Harvard University, and the president of the Harvard Crimson, with the subject "bombs placed around campus," according to the report.

Kim will be arraigned in U.S. District Court on Wednesday, Dec. 18.
