Man Assaulted and Robbed on Arsenal Street in Watertown

The attacker took the man's cell phone during the assault.

A man was attacked while walking down Arsenal Street and his iPhone was taken during incident, police say.

The man attack occurred near the Toyota of Watertown dealership on Jan. 14 at 12:38 a.m., said Watertown Police Lt. Michael Lawn. The man was wearing headphones listening to music when another man approached him, Lawn said.

"He grabbed (the victim) by the shoulder and threw him to the ground and one individual got out of the motor vehicle and threw bags at the victim that had water inside," Lawn said. "He realized that his iPhone had been taken during the attack."

The attackers then got into the car, a black older model four-door Hyundai, and drove off toward Boston, Lawn said. They were described as white males in their 20s, and one had shoulder-length brown hair and had a goatee, Lawn said.
