A Watertown man who advertised that he would trade drugs for sex faces drug possession charges after he gave prescription drugs to an undercover Watertown Police officer.
Police learned that the man man, identified as Scott Watts, 40, had been advertising online, said Watertown Police Lt. Michael Lawn.
"We received information from an anonymous source that an individual was posting on Craigslist offering to exchange Adderall to 'party with a female,'" Lawn said.
Police set up a time to meet Watts at the parking lot of Starbucks on the afternoon of Oct. 31, Lawn said.
"At this point, Watts met with an undercover officer, and handed her 15 Aderall," Lawn said.
Police placed Watts under arrest.
Scott Watts, 40, of 23 Oakland St. in Watertown, was arrested on a charge of distribution of Class B drugs, Lawn said.
Police did not charge him for soliciting sex, Lawn said.
