Pair of Watertown Brothers Arrested in Drug Bust

Police found prescription drugs during a raid of a home on Thayer Road.

 

Police found percocet and steroids when they conducted a drug raid on a home on Thayer Road.

Watertown Police along with the Southern Middlesex County Drug Task Force executed a search warrant on the home at 31 Thayer Road at 4:48 p.m. on July 26, said Watertown Police Lt. Michael Lawn.

The warrant was issued after a month long investigation into narcotics distribution, Lawn said.

Two suspects, Thomas J. McDonough, 24, and Daniel James McDonough, 20, of 31 Thayer Road, were placed under arrest after the search found percocet and other illegal substances, Lawn said.

Both faces charges of possession to distribute Class B drugs, possession to distribute Class C drugs and possession to distribute Class D drugs. In addition, Thomas McDonough faces a charge of possession to distribute Class E drugs - steroids, Lawn said.
