Police Log: OUI Arrest and Possible Drug Deals

The following information was supplied by the Wilmington Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

The following is an excerpt from the Wilmington Police log from Monday, December 10, to Tuesday, December 11.

Monday, December 10

10:15 a.m.: On Sarafinas Way, a caller reported two horses loose in the roadway. Officers responded to the area and helped corralling the horses on Hopkins Street.

11:52 a.m.: A caller reported that the wires for her Christmas lights on Pleasant Road were cut. A sign was also knocked over.

2:46 p.m.: Calling from Salem Street, a resident reported that a maintenance worker on scene called the management company to state that he heard a female party calling for help from one of the units, but he did not go inside. Officers spoke with the party, who refused treatment and said family members will arrive home in about 10 minutes.

3:54 p.m.: A Houghton Road resident reported that she believes she witnesses drug deals every weekday around 3:30 p.m. when she picks up her children from school.

4:02 p.m.: Officers reported that a vehicle traveled over the foot bridge next to Meineke, blowing out the front left tire, before taking a right turn onto Main Street towards Woburn. Jacqueline Hartzell, 46, of 14 Pilling Road in Wilmington, was arrested for operating under the influence of liquor and leaving the scene of property damage.

Tuesday, December 11

2:10 a.m.: Tewksbury police via a motorist reported a possible fire off of I-93, but they are unsure of what town. State Police called and indicated it may be coming from a business on Ballardvale Street, but officers checked the area and nothing was showing.

9:12 p.m.: A vehicle was towed from Glen Road and a Somerville resident was summonsed for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and marked lanes violation.

And seriously Kevin, why are you still living in Wilmington if you hate everything about it so much? Do you find joy in making other people miserable?

Personally paying a lot of money in taxes to the Town to fund their education (or lack of it) and teaching them how not to be scammed. Take this video out from the Library Tom. Get a clue !!! http://www.sonyclassics.com/insidejob/

Kevin, Thank you. We were all worried about you. As usual you are a fan favorite. Attacking the police force and Matt Schooley. Keep up the good work.

I don't hate Wilmington "Wilmington Mom". Some of us are fed up with hack Town Officials and their causing us to incur high taxes through their incompetence. Don't be so gullible and let them play you for a fool !!!!!!!!!!

I live on the wilmington-tewksbury line. I told the Tewksbury police that a house down the street from me has clearly been selling drugs regularly for at least a year, at least 10 cars daily pulling up to the house. The woman officer told me that I should sit out front, take down plate numbers, how many occupants of the cars and dates and times for a few weeks then contact the police and hand over the information. Nuttiest thing I've ever heard out of an officers mouth.
