Rash of Car Break Ins Reported in Watertown

Most of the incidents occurred in East Watertown.

A sharp rise in car break ins has been seen in Watertown recently, particularly in the east end of town, Watertown Police warn.

Many of the vehicles targeted were left unlocked, according to the announcement sent out by Watertown Police Chief Edward Deveau on Monday.

Police encourage anyone who has any information about these breaks or noticed anything unusual in their area to call the Watertown Police Department at 617-972-6500.
