Student Busted for Stealing Cellphones at Watertown High School

A 15-year-old boy allegedly took four cellphones.

A Watertown High School student landed in legal trouble for allegedly taking cellphones.

The Watertown Police Department's school resource officer was alerted by the WHS Assistant Headmaster about a student who had a cellphone that belonged to another student, said Watertown Police Lt. Michael Lawn.

"The phone was taken on Nov. 8, and later it was determined he was in possession of of other stolen cellphones," Lawn said.

On Nov. 13, police summonsed a 15-year-old boy, who was not named because he is a minor, to Waltham Juvenile Court on four counts of larceny over $250, Lawn said.
