Two Men Busted for More than Shoplifting after Fleeing Watertown Stop & Shop

Police discovered more than just stolen merchandise.

A man busted for shoplifting got into deeper trouble after Watertown Police searched him. 

At 10:06 p.m. on Dec. 4, police were called to Stop & Shop on Pleasant Street when for a shoplifter fleeing the store. He was spotted getting into a Toyota with three other men, said Watertown Police Lt. Michael Lawn. 

Watertown Police located the car on Pleasant Street and stopped it. Police searched one man and found he had seven Zoloft Pills on him for which he didn't have a prescription, Lawn said. Another man had a warrant out in his name.

Eugeniy Koshevatsky, 40, of 65 Maverick St. in Dedham, was arrested on charges of shoplifting by concealment - a third offense, and two counts of possession of a Class E drug. 

Igor Nosenko, 35, of 52 Troy Lane in Newton, was arrested on a warrant out of Roxbury District Court for possession of a Class A drug.
