Watertown Police Log: Cars Vandalized, Brick Smashes Window of Business

The following information was provided by the Watertown Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Arrest

Dec. 9, 12:50 a.m.: Police arrested Caitlin Ann Duffy, 27, of 183 Mt. Auburn St. Apt 25 in Watertown, was arrested on charges of domestic assault and battery and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon - a glass of water.

Incidents

Dec. 9, 3:17 p.m.: A driver parked behind Home Depot and when he returned he found that the car had been keyed.

Dec. 9, 8:24 p.m.: A Melendy Avenue resident discovered that some prescription pills and replaced them with aspirin. Also taken were a class ring and a pendent worth $400. The theft occurred sometime between August and December.

Dec. 11, 8:47 a.m.: Someone threw a paving brick at a window at Gordon's Liquors and smashed the glass. No entry was gained.

Dec. 11, 10:14 a.m.: A car parked on Standish Road got a flat tire and when the owner took it to the shop he was told the hole was caused by someone slashing the tire.
