Watertown Police Log: Checks Stolen and Cashed, Car Vandalized

The following information was provided by the Watertown Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Arrest

Oct. 29, 11:16 p.m.: Brookline Police contacted Watertown authorities about a suspect they had an warrant on for breaking and entering and larceny. Police arrested Shirvan M. Badalian, 28, of 5 Madison Ave. in Watertown, was arrested and turned over to Brookline Police.


Incidents

Oct. 28, 9:20 a.m.: Someone forced open the door to a storage area at West End Laundry overnight and stole some quarters. The previous weekend the same storage area was broken into and $30 in quarters were taken.

Oct. 29, 8:47 a.m.: The owner of a Watertown business discovered three checks had been stolen and cashed for $1,000 each.

Oct. 29, 5:45 p.m: A car parked in a driveway on South Park Street had three tires punctured.

Oct. 30, 10:32 a.m.: Brass knobs were stolen off of a bureau sitting in a garage on Gay Road.

Oct. 31, 3:21 p.m.: Graffiti was found on the Field Companies Building on Pleasant Street.
