Jewelry was taken from the home in the robbery.

A Boylston Street resident returned from a vacation to find that someone had broken into her home and took some jewelry, said Watertown Police Lt. Michael Lawn.

When the residents got home on Aug. 18 after about a week away she saw something wrong.

"She returned and noticed items out of place," Lawn said. "The freezer door was left open and several items of valuable jewelry were stolen from the bedroom as well as some other jewelry."
