Woman Arrested on OUI Charge After Causing Disturbance at a Watertown Home
Police detected an odor of alcohol on the Watertown woman's breath when she was pulled over.
Watertown Police arrested a 22-year-old woman who allegedly drove under the influence of alcohol and caused a disturbance on Springfield Street.
Officers went to the area after receive a resident reported that a woman was at her door and refused to leave, said Watertown Police Lt. Michael Lawn.
"When the officer arrived he saw a grey Honda parked on the roadway with its hazard lights flashing," Lawn said. "As the officer pulled up the Honda pulled away."

The officer pulled the car over on Bradshaw Street and a strong odor of alcohol was detected on the driver's breath, Lawn said. Field sobriety tests were performed and the driver was arrested.
Lisa D. Newsome, 22, of 253 Sycamore St. in Watertown, was arrested on a charge of driving under the influence of alcohol.
