Help Planners Prioritize the Goals for Watertown's Future

A series of hands on activities will be presented at the next forum on the Watertown Comprehensive Plan.

Watertown Planning officials have listened, and now they want to find out exactly which changes and goals for the town's future you would make a priority.

On Saturday, Oct. 19, the third public forum for the Watertown Comprehensive Plan will be held at Watertown Middle School, 68 Waverley Ave. This time, residents will be able to take part in a series of activities to help the planners "set strategies, priorities, and develop a sustainable Comprehensive Plan."

Ideas that have come up at prior meetings include attracting new types of businesses, making the town more walkable, improve schools and enhance the town's natural features.

The meeting runs from 9 a.m. to noon, and refreshments will be served. All Watertown residents are invited.
