See if a Tree on Your Street is Being Removed

The Tree Warden has scheduled a Tree Hearing for Aug. 30.

Watertown Tree Warden Christopher Hayward announced a Tree Hearing will be held on Aug. 30 at 11:30 a.m. in Town Hall in the Third Floor Hearing Room. At the meeting, he will review trees that have been requested to be removed.

Residents can attend and give input at the public hearing.

Here is an announcement from the Tree Warden, including a list of the trees:

Please note that you do not need to attend the Tree Hearing to be heard.  If you cannot attend but are in favor of or against the removal of any of the trees listed and want your thoughts to become public record, all you have to do is email your concerns to the Tree Warden at chayward@watertown-ma.gov. Your concerns will be read into the public record. Your email must be received by me by 11 a.m. on Aug. 30, 2012.

If you have any questions, feel free to contact Christopher Hayward at the email listed above or at 617-972-6426.
