See the Latest Candidate to Join the Race for Town Council

Watertown native Aaron Dushku will challenge for an at-large seat on the Town Council.

The race for at-large seats on the Watertown Town Council is getting crowded, with the latest candidate announcing his campaign kick off.

Aaron Dushku will host an event at his childhood home on Saturday June 20 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. The reception will held at 121 Garfield St. in Watertown.

Dushku was born and raised in Watertown and was appointed to the town’s Stormwater Advisory Committee in December 2012.

On his Facebook page he said he will bring his “commitment to sustainability in environmental and social issues to our town council.”

Dushku is the third challenger to enter the race for the four at-large seats on the Town Council. Former councilor Paul Fahey and educator Michael Dattoli have already announced their candidacies.

Currently, he four at-large councilors are Steve Corbett, Susan Falkoff, John Donohue and Tony Palomba.
