Special State Senate Election to be Held Tuesday

Despite only one candidate being on the ballot, the special election will be held Jan. 10.

The suspense has been taken out of the Special Election to fill the Second Suffolk and Middlesex State Senate seat, as Belmont's Will Brownsberger won the Democratic primary in December and he faces no challenger in Tuesday's election.

Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. in Watertown. , who left when he was elected president of the AFL-CIO of Massachusetts.
