Susan Rice Out. John Kerry In?

Pres. Obama's candidate for Secretary of State has withdrawn her bid to be top diplomat. Does that mean Mass. Sen. John Kerry is next up for consideration?

President Obama said today that U.S. Ambassador to the U.N. Susan Rice had withdrawn from consideration to be the next Secretary of State, saying conservative opposition would make her candidacy too "disruptive."

With Rice out of the picture, Massachusetts Sen. John Kerry is seen by many to be the frontrunner to replace current top diplomat Hillary Clinton.

On Huffington Post and elsewhere, there has been speculation that the reason for such fierce opposition to Rice was to get Kerry into the Obama Administration and get back the U.S. Senate seat recently lost by Republican Sen. Scott Brown to his successful Democratic rival, Elizabeth Warren.

We asked last month about who you think should run for the Senate seat, if, in fact, Kerry is offered the State position and takes it. What do you think now?

Don't want to see him get a promotion, but it'll get him out of Mass. Take the Devil as in governor with you...

Hanoi John should have been tried for treason a long time ago!

Yes John, it's all about policy and never personal.

Yes Paul that is about policy. John Kerry gave aid and comfort to the enemy during the Vietnam War by his blatantly politically motivated testimony. And there in lies the reference to Hanoi John and Treason. If you don't recall history, that's not my problem Paul. My comment was about John Kerry's policies and public conduct. It was not related to his personal life, his features, or anything else that has anything to do with anything other then his political views, his positions on issues, and his policy decisions.
