Victor's Diner is Now Watertown Diner

The only thing that has changed now that Victor's has become Watertown Diner is the name!

Before long-time Watertown residents start panicking, hold on a second and take a couple of deep breaths. While Victor's Diner may have changed names and gotten a new awning and blinds, everything inside is still the same.

The menu is still a long list of creative and filling breakfast and lunch choices. The decore is still kitchy 50's style with pictures of old movie stars. The waitresses are still the same attentive staff with snappy conversation.

Apparently the current owners bought Victor's in 2010 and didn't want to change the name because of the restaurant's popularity. 3 years later, they felt it was time.

So, fair Watertown residents, while Victor's has a new name, you can breath easy that the name is the only thing that has changed at Victor's!

I agree with Mike. The menu is very big! Traditional breakfast/diner plus some middle eastern twists and specialties that are delicious.

I should also note the big portions and reasonable prices. Not to sound like a commercial but there's a reason I continually go back.

Great food at good prices. Just be prepared as there's usually a wait. Only one bad booth at the door where people stand while waiting as you're sitting there trying to eat. Still a little confusing as to the name change, I think they should've left it as is.

Name change makes sense. Victor was the name of a previous past diner owner, so since he is no longer affiliated with the diner and it is under new ownership, its only fair for the new diner owners to give the diner a new, fresh name and to also allow them to create their own identity. Watertown diner, is also much more neighborhood friendly name for the diner.
