Watertown Middle School's theater program brings the beloved musical "Fiddler on the Roof" to the stage this week.
The musical takes place in Tsarist Russia in 1905, and the original Broadway production, which is based on stories by Sholem Aliechem, premiered on Sept. 22, 1964 and ran about 10 years, according to the Watertown Splash - the WMS newspaper.
The middle school's performance will not have such a long run, so get your tickets while you can. Fiddler will be presented Thursday, Nov. 29 and Friday, Nov. 30 at 7 p.m. Tickets are $5.
