Perkins School Students Experience Extreme Sports
The Perkins School for the Blind partnered with Waypoint Adventure during their spring break to take part in indoor versions of outdoor activities.
Students with visual impairments experienced two days of extreme sports through Waypoint Adventures, who's goal is to allow people with disabilities to think beyond their disability and challenge themselves.
With the help of volunteers, the students from Perkins School for the Blind were able to participate in indoor rock climbing and indoor kayaking and it proved their ability to succeed on their own.
