Watertown’s schools came in 9 spots behind Cambridge and 11 spots ahead of Waltham in the Boston Magazine’s 2013 Best Schools in Boston list.
Watertown ranked 97th in the latest list, which looks at data released by the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education. Statistics examined include student-to-teacher ratio, average class size, spending per pupil and results on the SAT and MCAS.
Looking at the numbers, Watertown has among the higher per pupil spending and one of the lower average class sizes.
