When Does School Close for Thanksgiving in Watertown?
Students have multiple days off next week for the Thanksgiving holiday.
Thanksgiving means food, family, friends and football. And for local students it also means a few days off from school.
With Thanksgiving break just around the corner, you might be wondering. When exactly do the Watertown Public Schools close for the holiday?
The answer can be found on the Watertown Public Schools website, which shows that classes will let out early on Wednesday, Nov. 27, the day before Thanksgiving. Classes will let out at noon at the high school, 11:30 a.m. at the middle school, noon at the elementary schools.
School is obviously closed on Thursday, Nov. 28, for Thanksgiving Day as well. In addition, students don't have to worry about hitting the books on Friday, Nov. 29, either, and will return on Dec. 2.
