3 Things You Need to Know About the Start of the Watertown High School Sports Season

Fall sports practices have started and preseason games are nearly here. Be sure to share stories and photos from the Raiders games this year.

Watertown High School has not started classes, but practices for fall sports teams are already underway. The football, field hockey, soccer, volleyball, cross country and golf teams seasons have begun!

1. Preseason Games

Aug. 25, 10 a.m. - Boys Varsity Football vs. North Shore Technical High

Aug. 28, 6 p.m. - Boys Varsity Soccer vs. Waltham

Aug. 29, 3 p.m. - Girls Varsity Soccer vs. Ursuline Academy

Aug. 29, 3 p.m. - Girls Junior Varsity Soccer v. Ursuline Academy

Aug. 29, 6 p.m. - Boys Varsity Football vs. Oliver Ames

Aug. 30, 3:30 p.m. - Girls Varsity Field Hockey at Acton-Boxborough

Aug. 31, 10 a.m. - Girls Varsity Soccer v. Boston Latin

Aug. 31, 10 a.m. - Girls Junior Varsity Soccer v. Boston Latin School

Sept. 1, 10 a.m. - Boys Varsity Football vs. Newburyport 

 

2. Pay your fees. 

Students participating in sports at Watertown High School must pay a fee. The fee is $200 per student per school year, and it includes for unlimited sports and clubs. The fees were adopted by the Watertown School Committee. All fees must be paid by check or money order and made payable to “Watertown Public Schools”.
