See Who Watertown Will Play in the State Football Playoffs

The Raiders will play in the MIAA Div. 4 playoffs on Friday.

The MIAA playoff brackets are out and Watertown made the Div. 4 North tournament.

The Raiders will travel to Byfield to play Triton Regional High School on Friday, Nov. 1 at 7 p.m. Watertown received the fifth seed in the eight-team bracket, and Triton is the fourth seed.

Win or lose, Watertown will keep playing the two weeks after the first round game. Under the new Massachusetts playoff system the winners continue in the tournament, while the losers move to the non-playoff bracket. The Raiders will face either top-seed Pentucket or eighth-seeded Hamilton-Wenham.

The winner of the North Section will face the winner of the South Section for a chance to play for the state championship. The High School Super Bowls will be played at Gillette Stadium and the Eastern Mass. winner will take on either the Central Mass. or Western Mass. champs.
