Watertown Field Hockey Team's Success Chronicled in the Boston Globe

The Raiders unparalleled success has led the team to 100 straight games without a loss.

With a 2-0 win over Winchester on Friday, the Watertown High School field hockey team hit triple digits in its state-record unbeaten run.

In September, coach Eileen Donahue and her tea set the Massachusetts record with the unbeaten run and have the third longest ever in the United States. Not only has the team not lost this fall, they have also have not been scored upon

The Raiders won their fourth straight Div. 2 state title in 2012, and the success has continued this fall, despite having but one senior on the squad. The Boston Globe detailed Watertown's success in a recent article, noting the team has not lost in 1,654 days (as of Monday), and compiled a record of 97-0-3 in that time.
