Watertown Recreation Department Hosting Fun on the Fourth of July

Games, activities and free food are in store at Victory Field.

The Watertown Recreation Department is putting on a Fourth of July party on Thursday, filled with games and much more.

The fun is at Victory Field, and attendees are asked to park at the Public Works facility next door at 124 Orchard St.

All-day activities include face painting, arts and crafts and games. Hot dogs, hamburgers and refreshments will be served free of charge.

9:15 am: T-Ball and Instructional – (Baseball Scoreboard Field)

10:00 am: AA All-Star Baseball Game (Main Field)

10:00-11:00 am: Basketball Contests: Knock Out and Dribble and Shoot (ages 8-12), Parachute Games: (ages 7 and under), Field Goal Contest: (all ages)

10:30 am Single A All-Star Baseball Game (Baseball Scoreboard Field)

11:00-12:0 0am: Kickball:(ages 7 and under), Dodgeball: (ages 8-12), Whiffleball Game: (ages 12-14)

11:30 am: AAA All-Star Baseball Game (Main Field)

12:30-1:30pm: Three-on-Three Basketball: (Ages 12-14), Relay Races: (all ages), Whiffleball Game: (ages 8-12)

1:00 pm: 10U & 12U Softball All Star Game (Main Field)

1:30-2:30 pm: Water Balloon Toss: (all ages),  Group Games: (all ages), Wiffleball Homerun Derby: (all ages)

2:30 pm: Home Run Derby (Main Field)

3:00 pm Majors All Stars Game (Main Field)
