10U Crushers End Fall Season With A Big Win

On a beautiful fall day in Wellesley, the 10U Crushers closed the fall softball season with a pair of games vs. the Wellesley Raiders. Wellesley won the first game in a tight contest 5-4. In the second match up, the Watertown girls got a walk-off win 9-8 when Lindsey Franklin drove home Chloe Fandetti with a grounder to 3rd base in the bottom half of the last inning. Pitching for the Crushers were Fandetti, Emma Franklin and Lindsey. The Crushers had great offensive and defensive contributions from all the players.  The team has really improved from the start of the season under the tutor-ledge of Coach Jen Fandetti and were able to finish out the season with an exciting win.
